Just finishing with Pinkerton in Rivet City and decided to go through my holotapes in my Pipboy. Came across one titled "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOuc02--apY" and nearly cried (I'm such a sap). Listening to to Katherine (Mom) and James had me remembering that first scene where I was born. All those conversations I had with NPCs who knew Katherine came flooding into my usually faulty memory. Was this the prelude to my conception?

Yes. All the time. Just read the notes in the game. Written by people facing the blasts or the aftermath of the blasts.

I personally didn't like the story in F3 and didn't care much about it but the world and atmosphere were excellent (bad english i'm sorry).

Yes. Even the skeletons found in beds, next to each other. Lots of skeletons in bathtubs, too, participating in a variety of deadly activities.
