Motherboard Bios?

I have an MSI K9N Diamond motherboard (dual core) 5 Gb of Ram on a Windows 7 64 bit operating system with the most current Bios update (Updated on Feb 7th, 2011). I currently have an ATI Radeon HD Diamond 4740 (1GB) graphics card installed and it has been working perfectly for about two years now. I recently tried to update to a new ATI Radeon HD 5770 Diamond (1GB) but it will not display anything to the monitor. I exchanged the card for another but still the same thing. I am still suspecting the Bios. The card was installed properly and re- tried numerous times- still the same thing. I’ve seen on some other tech sites that people have been having the same problem with this card but found no solution for my board. The computer starts but it locks at a boot black screen never posts. The power supply to the card is on par.

I am wondering if it is the Bios, if there is a custom Bios solution in existence. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
