I probably won't be doing much either, my mom is pretty irrational. I might do something nice just out of respect, but I won't be going out of my way too much.

I have no idea, I have a stockpile of cards for various holidays in my glove compartment though so I never forget to get one.

My mom is easy to buy gifts for. She loves books so I got her a historical-fiction about Cleopatra, and the one Dean Koontz she apparently doesn't have :)

EDIT: And the best part was they were only $5 together, good shape, hard cover at the used book sale one of our malls has!

Make a cake. Then rub her face with it. And she won't freak out. She's just cool like that.

My mom and her mother are going on a cruise and won't be here Mothers Day so I paid for her a manicure and pedicure before she left.

Glue some Popsicle sticks together. I assume that the thought still counts.

Okay then?

Anyway, I'm taking my mom shopping for clothes tomorrow, spoiling her with frozen yogurt, and we're making her a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake on Sunday.

Write a poem, and then leave her alone for the day.

Damn Americans. Every single year I see this thread and think 'oh crap have I forgotten' then I realise it's already passed here in the UK. :ahhh:

Probably nothing. I already call my mom and tell her I love her as well as show appreciation for her on a regular basis, so I don't personally see a point in this day.

I went out and bought her a card today even though I'm a tad ill. I'll write it soon and give it to her in the morning.

Also, it's weird you created this thread. It's like me creating a champions league final thread in 3 weeks time and my opening post will be: "Barca - Manchester tonight, I'm not going to watch it".
