This is an open discussion to the subject of the DLC Mothership Zeta. Below you will find links to previous discussions on the various topics surrounding MZ (mothership zeta) and a spoiler synopsis.

Spoiler
Mothership Zeta is the final DLC to Bethesda's Fallout 3. It takes place on board an alien spaceship which the Lone Wanderer has been abducted after following a mysterious radio broadcast to a downed alien spacecraft. The crashed ship can be seen streaking across the night sky prior to expansion with the DLC and can be visited before or after witnessing this event. An alien corpse is also present and elsewhere are two alien weapons: the Alien Blaster and the Fire Lance. On board the aliens ship the Lone Wandered awakens to find that he or she has been stripped of gear (which is soon recovered in a nearby storage room) and held in a cell with a human female who devises a plan to escape the immediate cell. Once free the Lone Wandered must battle hordes of aliens, robots, turrets and bizarre experiments to escape. The Alien ship is very massive and must be explored thoroughly to allow escape. In the end the Lone Wandered has a small gang of NPCs from all different places and eras including a little girl who is needed to travel into small air ducts, a medic who fought in Anchorage, a samurai, a cowboy and others. They each help during different sequences and if they are all still alive they participate in the final battle in the control room which leads up to an attack by another alien spaceship. The battle is fought in a Star Trek like way with the Lone Wanderer assuming the helm and directing power from weapons to shields and back as needed during the epic space battle using massive deathrays.

This DLC is considered by many to be highly controversial. Some fans wish it never existed while other merely tolerate its existence. Still there are those who enjoyed playing it but have mixed feelings about its eligibility as Fallout Canon.

Sweet index, thank you.

you are welcome. Ironically to make my point about us not needing any further topics created for the subject I had to post a new topic. *sigh*

if anyone does feel the need to make a new topic or manages to find one I missed please post the link here.
