Motorbike Mod

Post » Fri Jul 30, 2010 4:47 pm

I recently installed the rideable motorcycle mod, and well...now I can't walk!

I mean I rode the motorbike, and then got off it, but now I am unable to move my characted. I reloaded a save from an hour before, but still, I cannot move.

I Exited the game, then reloaded it, several times...and still, I can't move.

I've unistalled the mod...and yes, I still can't move.

Any suggestions?

i had that motorbike mod before, it makes all of megaton try to kill me when i get on the motercycle.

have you tried TCL, fly slightly up (not too much to kill from the fall, just a little off the ground) and then TCL again? I know that there is another console command for when a cutscene happens and then you get stuck from that immobility, but you will have to find out yourself what that one is. out of curiosity, can you crouch, attack, and jump?

I tried TCL....it was the first thing actually lol!

Found out what it was. Apparently the game thinks its funny to just delete ALL of the controls under control mapping. Now whenever I start/load a game, I have to go to the options tab, control mapping and click restore defaults >:(

Anyone ever encountered this before? And is there a way to fix it so I don't have to input these settings EVERY time?

I'd suggest that too, the game makes one automatically so you should just need to delete it and start the game up again,

it will reset your graphics options too though i think.

Erm....Fallout ini???

I've found out that the game only disables the controls when it crashes :o
And that was happening a lot yesterday for some reason, but all seems fine now :)

Thanks for the help everyone

That's because the game saves changes when it closes, so if it CTD's changes won't get saved. You can get around this with the saveini console command after making the changes ingame.
