Only 2,819 downloads to go until you hit the 100,000 mark B), congratulations in advance. Not a bad way to retire.

Thanks for the contributions you've blessed the community with. :)

Hehe, true, I've been counting the downloads for a while now... ;)

I'll make a post here where I reveal the 2 secret rooms (with spoiler tags of course) when the 100,000 downloads limit is broken.

Looks like the version is as bug-free as I thought it was, so that's good. If you have any questions, post them here.

This home is just gorgeous! What else is there to say? It meets my every need in a house, while being very pleasing to the eye. Thanks, Sage Rime for all of your efforts to make this mod one of Oblivion's best. :goodjob:

PS. I gave you a 10 at TES Nexus. ;)

Just a small reminder, please rate the mod if you try it out. The usual deal is downloads, but no comments or ratings... while I can understand it, I'd appreciate it if you took the time to drop a line and rate the mod at either site (Nexus / PES).

Edit: This is just a general note and not aimed at anyone in particular.

Thank you! :)
I definitely needed a rest, much brighter now. :)
I certainly hope so! It would nice to be remembered for making this piece. :)
Well, I still don't know how it would conflict, seeing that a merchant is selling the tower.

I'm not giving permission for any add-on release at this time. Thanks for the comments. :)

that svcks since your not going to update it . pity .

I have re-installed fairly recently and this mod was on my "must have" house mods. Luxurious, secluded...

*Where can I get one in RL?*

My mod, my rules. If you're not happy with it, create your own mod.

Sounds good. What does it do?

Edit: Scrolled down a bit. I see now. Sweet.

Even if it takes years for an update (or TES V), it will be well worth the wait.

It does 'everything' a mage could wish for his tower to do.

I could probably create something similar for TES V when/if it's released and if I'm around then. That's pure speculation though... but this is the final edition for Oblivion, there won't be any more.

I'm not trying to be critical here, so don't take it the wrong way, but is there some reason for not allowing compatibility mods since you won't be around to maintain this? There are a lot of good mage mods out there, and I'd love to be able to use this one with them, but the archmage lobby is pretty much common ground and a likely area for mage mods to tinker with. Not just current ones, but also future mods. If you're dead set against it that's fine. I just thought your mod was pretty cool and would like to see it stay compatible in the future.

Congrats on the release, and happy retirement :)

I don't need any other reason that I don't really want to. You can always install this one first and buy the book, then install any other mods that might override the lobby changes, but it won't matter at that point because you already have access to the tower.

The release went well, and no bugs that I could reproduce have been reported.

If you discover a bug later on, send me a PM here on the official Bethesda forums.

Regards,
Sage Rime

P.S. If you have generic question about the mod, post it in this thread.

Combined download counter climbing steadily towards the 100,000 mark - 971 new downloads since the release at TES Nexus alone. I just wish people would rate the mod too, only 9 new ratings at TES Nexus.

Over 1100 new downloads at TES Nexus so far, thanks for the interest, everyone.

A few people have reported an issue of not being able to see a way to get into the tower, here's what I came up concerning this:

I've checked the meshes themselves, and they're fine, so it's not that.

I've installed the mod the same way everyone else has - from the 7-Zip archive. I couldn't re-produce the bug.

The most likely scenario would be that the uninstallation process didn't work as it should have, or there were remnants left of the old installation.

First, I suggest uninstalling everything related to the Mountain Tower.

Second, run Oblivion and load a save game - then move your character to an area not affected by Mountain Tower, e.g. Bruma. Make a new save game at that location.

Finally, install Mountain Tower 6.0 as per the instructions in the ReadMe. Run Oblivion and load the clean save game you made earlier, and go over to purchase the tower and see if the mod works.
