Well i didnt see one so i decided to make one. Do you want mounted combat, that is fighting from Horse (or whatever mount your ons) back? I myself would like it as a learned skill, instead of just being able to do it ya know? I do remember the first screen from oblivion showing us it, but then having it taken away. if theres already a thread for it you can lock this mods

Yes, wouldn't mind if it was a skill but would prefer it was simply in game.

P.S: it would be cool if it was a perk.

I don't believe that it will fit well with the rest of the game.

it should be much more complex, u should have to learn how to ride a horse not just be able to get on one and fight

A good example was in RDR. A system similar to that one, using ranged weapons such as bows and spells from your mount would be awesome.

I always thought it would be nice to have mounted combat in OB. You had to constantly get off your horse in order to kill those bandits and such.

I'd suggest not a skill on its own, but a bunch of prequisites to fight from horseback.

50 blunt/(polearm?)/unarmed?/blade -

50 athletics(something)-

To fight from horseback.

If polearms com e back to the game they should gain a massive damage bonus from horse back.

If your charging or going very fast with your horse(mount) and you have 75 in the suitable weapon skill your using. You MAY do extra damage.


Range and Mage would act regulary more or less.
