Yep, and when or if a modder actually makes a dragon mount mod, it'll quickly rise to be among the top mods just like the Akatosh mount mod. I'll bet that most of the dragon riding haters here, who swear that dragons are too noble and intelligent to be a mount, will download and use the mod anyway, despite how much they loathe the idea of dragon riding.
The idea of mounting an intelligent, God-like being with the ability to talk (although only in Dragontongue) does have its appeal, but think of how horribly those ridges would feel underneath you! Bad jokes aside, I really don't think it's a possibilty. In all seriousness, it would be like asking a Daedric Prince for a piggy back ride. Also, other games have tried, largely unsuccessfully, to implement dragon riding. Hopefully, either Skyrim won't have it, or it'll be really good (with maybe some Dragon conversation to acompany it).
How does a standard Skyrim dragon compare to a daedric prince? Currently, the only dragon in Skyrim I see as "God-like" is Alduin; the rest shown so far only seems comparable to any other typical powerful (but not god-like) foe/boss.
