Not quite sure what you are talking about, but if you purchase your video games from Steam or get a DVD version from a store, it is always guaranteed to not include harmful spyware/trojans/viruses.

Steam Install: http://store.steampowered.com/about/

EA Store: http://eastore.ea.com/store?Action=DisplayPage&IsGift=no&Locale=en_US&SiteID=ea&id=ThreePgCheckoutShoppingCartPage

I don't quite get what you mean, but if you meant to install games that are downloaded, I can give you an answer. Or is it about the stability of your Pc/Laptop to handle said games?

Yea but in Finland every game cost about 50e (for pc) but if I go to my cousin in Russia I can buy games for about 2,5euros but they all are freaking pirates and can't even play online.

I don't need to explain the implications of you discussing Crysis piracy here.

If you're looking for a legitimate source to download Crysis games from, EA store and Steam are your best and safest options.

Shin's right, better safer/legit than sorry.

Although you can legitimately mount legally acquired CD's and DVD's on your computer to avoid switching CD's every time you want to play a different game, they take up a heck of a lot of space on your hard drive. (esp. because you still have to have the game installed)

No, it's not legal to bypass the disc check software that you agree to adhere to in the EULA when installing the game.

Mounting the disc is making a backup of it, which is illegal in many countries, here's the Australian rules for example:
“Back-up” copies

There is no general provision allowing a purchaser of a computer game to make a “back-up” copy without the permission of the copyright owner.

The Copyright Act includes a special provision allowing purchasers of computer programs to make back-up copies, but this applies only to the computer program itself. Since computer games also involve other copyright material, such as films, music, sound recordings and artistic works, computer games cannot be copied under this provision.

If you wish to make a back-up copy of a computer game, you should check whether or not the licence allows you to. If there is nothing stated in the licence about backup copies, you will generally need permission from the copyright owner to make a backup copy.

Secondly to this, as mentioned above, it breaches the EULA (End User Licence Agreement) when you're installing the game, to bypass the CD check method that's in place. Mounting the disc in a program obviously bypasses this disc check method.

I just hope, Crysis 2 has a different form of Verification in the near future. :) (If, Cd check was the only thing it needed, I would adhere to it.)

yeah, all we need is DNA testing, then you never have to worry about game copying, unless you have identical twins :P

Well, we all did discuss the ideas of alternatives to authentication for Crysis 2 a long time ago in this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/topic4053/
