Mounts (not dragon)

Mounted combat would likely add too much imbalance to the combat system.

Umm.. skyrim is a very very mountainous place, I'm pretty sure a horse in fights would be more useless than over powered. However I think it might take too much time to be worth it anyways. :) But jumping of a horse/mount should be much much faster than in OB so we won't notice the lack of mounted combat.

Bear cavalry.

If my dreams of being able to engage in mounted combat on the back of a [censored] BEAR are not realised in Skyrim, I will not be happy.

Perhaps no activity with mounts has been "confirmed," but carriages have been confirmed. Something has to pull the carriages.

Of course, in this Witcher 2 http://ve3dmedia.ign.com/images/06/94/69484_TheWitcher2AssassinsOfKings-Art-03_normal.jpg, people pull the cart, lol/

Did I ever say overpowered? No. I said "imbalance". That can go either way.

From what has been said and the way you said what you said, it's pretty obvious you meant that it is over powered, because the other way it just doesnt make sense, who forces you to fight on horse back in a mountainous area and that way imbalance your game? Was that really, honestly, your point? My point however is that at some places mounted comat will work in agreat way, in the mountains however not so much, but it's still not worth the effort.

I only want Mount and/or Mounted combat if it's as Todd said they would *Like* to do it where it's done well and to the best of their ability, like Red Dead, that would mean MoCap aswell which is another ball park that I don't wanna get into here :)

Yep. But you still don't have to be able to ride them in order for them to pull carriages or wagons. :P
