I would love to see different kinds of mounts in the game other than just horses. Seeing how dragons are in the game, it would be awesome to fly with a dragon or ride a stilt strider.

Maybe have different forms of transportation, mythical beasts? gryffins?

What does everyone think?

I'm not a fan of the idea to ride dragons, but horses or whatever else land beast they might come up with (keeping Morrowind's fauna in mind) I'm perfectly fine with.

Not Dragons for gods sake... Thats just so... Why the [censored] hell would a Dragon with any sense of dignity let you, a stupid dimvitted "hero" (that is the players character im reffering to here if you feel that I mean you) rid it?

I'm perfectly fine with horses again. But I would like to see some variety amongst the breeds. Maybe the introduction of some kind of large draft horse better suited to Skyrim's climate.

Mounts aren't a big deal to me. Actually, it would be nice to have some pack animals to carry my loot.

There is a mod for Oblivion which allows you to have a Guar Mount and Pack Guar ... Would be pretty cool if you could ride them in Skyrim , or have them as storage.

Someone suggested rideable cliff racers. I must concur on it; size issues aside, it would be a pretty awesome.

Edit: Well, not necessarily a yak Bos grunniens, but some imaginary bovine animal. Just not a hairless 2 headed mutant cow from Fallout.

Sounds cool, but it would depend entirely on the implementation.

I would much rather just have mounted combat - that would be a HUGE leap.

Meh,............ I'm not too fussed if the mounts are going to be like in oblivion tbh....

I loved oblivion, but the mounts there just made me resort to walking.

And no dragons please. not unless there was a valid reason, or a really hard to do quest that made it worth it, like stealing an egg from a nest and raising it for weeks, (and no, you couldnt just use the wait button) before being able to ride it.

I never used horses due to the fact that you didn't gain athletics and acrobatics while using them. If they could add a mount skill I would be in favor of all kinds of mounts.

In all honesty though, i'm pretty happy with just horses. Dragons would be kind of cool if it was somehow intergrated into the storyline; but i'm happy to leave that to modders really.
As long as I have my trusty steed i'll be happy. :wub:
