Mouse feel

Post » Tue Jan 19, 2010 5:53 pm

Mouse is feeling sluggish, weird with this game.

Tried to lower dpi and higher sensitivity (and the opposite) but it still feels strange to what I've been used to.

It's a bit like in BC2 but even worse.

Are you experimenting the same ? Got a logitech G9X by the way

I can confirm that, mouse fees like "lagging" at some parts of the game, even though the FPS rate is 50-60 average and the DPI/Hz Rate is fixed via Mousedriver.

My feeling is like controlling a pad, but with my mouse. Anyway, it's strange, can't really explain

While the G9x does have acceleration built into its sensor, it should be unnoticeable for those who don't know what to look for. So, it sounds like the issue here is that, well, you're playing a console port.

Have a nice day.

Agreed.

If you look at games like Counter-Strike, the devs there have implemented features that let the mouse input directly to the game (bypassing some Control Panel settings). The mouse actually feels like it moves instantly in response to your movements.

Crysis 2 the mouse lags. It's very subtle, but it's definitely noticeable every time I play.

*sigh* I think I might return this game.
