Problem: I Have the Steam GOTY edition, so there is kind of 2 problems:

When i run FO3 from steam: Lagg issue, the game starts to lagg, dropping 20 fps a minute, starting at 120 going down to 10-20 fps, so i can play the game for about 5 minutes until it get horribly unplayable.

When i run FO3 directly from the steam folder, without having steam up i get the keyboard, mouse freeze after a couple of minutes. So the Keyboard and Mouse freezes, and the game continiues, every NPC moves, i can tab out and in and i can also put up the menu "Games for windows" when pressing Home. So the keyboard and mouse dies in the game. So i did alot of researching on this, and found out it might be the realtek driver.
The game runs smoothly, about 100 fps stable without sound.

Ok, so I have litteraly tried to fix this for 40 hours straight, and this is really pissing me off.
After 30 hours, i figured it might be the codecs in the Realtek HD drivers, so therefore i DISABLED the "Realtek High Definition Audio" under "Sound, video and game controllers" on the Device Manager tab.
So now, I can play the game, just 1 thing missing, SOUND!, that is when i play FO3 directly without steam on, or i can choose to play with steam on and get 20 fps

I have tried using the 2 different realtek drivers on the ASUS page, 1 beta and 1 final, which was both kinda old, so i downloaded the newest from Realtek's homepage, and the problem still persists, note that i have used driver sweeper between every re-install.

Another note is that i have about 20 more games i play , smoothly without any problems, and im sorry if i sound "mad", but i could never believe it would go so far to make a post like this.

What i tried to do:
-Every tests, not a hardware issue
-Scanned with ESET NOD32, Panda, Norton, Norman, Spybot S&D
-All those FPS limiters
-Changed my .ini files
-Different resoultions
-Reinstall!
-Format c:\
-Drivers, Changed graphic and sounds drivers 100x, with driver sweeper to make sure the old ones were gone.
- I did download K-lite and disable the thing with Fallout 3

So my question is, How do i fix this?
The mouse / keyboard freeze must be a sound issue atleast, since it never freezes when i disable the sound from device manager.

So disabling some music files in the Fallout 3 ini and folders helps, altho im not sure if alot of things is missing

But atleast it is playable now, and still i havent figured out i have lost any sound, AWESOME job by that guy
