So I was playing Minecraft for a bit when it lagged out and crashed (too many mods running it would seem). Anyways, now my mouse is really slow and laggy. It refuses to move faster than a slow crawl across my screen. The more I move it, the slower it seems to go.

Like, if I dart from one side of the screen to another, it'll do fine the first time, but then it's speed drops each time until it's hovering around the middle of my screen. Why is this happening? I ran a virus check and restarted my PC, but it's still not fixed...

look at the bottem of your mouse, is there aq bunch of crud stuck in the laser?

Well, sounds odd - but could it be, your batteries from your wireless mouse ???

Except that, the only things that controls the speed of the mouse, are the windows mouse settings, mouse drivers you have installed, and in game mouse settings.

But it could be dirt, stuck under your mouse somehow, as funnybunny^D say.
