you was using incorrect command, I suppose...

it's:
i_mouse_smooth=1
(without "+" :P)

i used to put this command in the game shortcut so i wouldn't have to do it in the console every time i started up the game yanno,
like this? C:\Programmer\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2\bin32\Crysis2.exe +i_mouse_smooth=1 so you don't have to do it over and over again yanno? it used to work but not after update, console commands used to be just limited but now it seems they're COMPLETELY cut off
needless to say punching it in while playing in the console doesn't do anything either, just says command unknown, in other words they disabled the console completely, or at least just killed off the mouse smoothing, god knows why they would do that

so help me god

you could use my AHK script, there is an option to enable/disable mouse smoothing ingame.

look at F9.

I looked at your script, it says it disables, but I need to enable mouse smoothing, does it do that?
And does it work in patch 1.9?

ok then you should look at f10

pressing F10:

- enables mouse smoothing an acceleration.

The commands are working correctly as far as I know.
