Mousekeyboard and Controller issue

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 7:08 pm

When I start up the game it will only recognize my ps4 controller, so I unplugged it and restarted, and it wont' recognize my mouse or keyboard at all. Just wants controller input.

CPU AMD FX8120

16 GB RAM

970 GTX

Windows 7 fully updated

Just a logitech G700 mouse and a Daskeyboard, works for everything else. I don't want to use the controller for this game. I just want to use my mouse and keyboard but i t refuses to read it.

Similar issue here with keyboard & mouse + xbox360 controller.

When the game launches and says "press any key" I can press the mouse, the keyboard or the controller, but after that it only accepts input from the controller.

I need to quit the game and physically unplug the controller from the PC and relaunch the game in order to be able to play with keyboard and mouse :(

not being able to seamlessly transition between keyboard and controller (like Witcher 3 and other games) kinda stinks.

please fix this Bethesda !!!

Hi guys,

Change "bGamePadRumble=1" to "bGamePadRumble=0" in Fallout4Prefs.ini in your My Games folder (located in My Documents)

Is there no option in the game settings to switch keyboard and mouse and back and forth?

All previous game's let you do this even in skyrim.

Now I know why the steam page says "Partial Controller Support",becuase you have to disable one or the other.

This really blow's if that's true,I will have to wait and see when it's release here for me.

Changing bGamePadRumble to zero doesn't fix the issue for me, if the controller is plugged in then keyboard and mouse can't be used.

If I change bGamepadEnable to zero then it gets disabled like one would assume, that way at least I can have the controller plugged into the computer while I play with keyboard and mouse.

so for now it seems its just one or the other :(
