I moved the beta client from one puter to another with a few thumbdrives, changed the name of the folder, ran the beta installer then corrected the name of the folder containing the updated client. After that I ran the updater, which updated itself and then wanted to redownload the whole stinkin' client!

Any help?

Help a Nord out..

I took the fully patched install on my computer and moved it to my wife's computer by copying the entire Zenimax folder (did not change its name, or any of that stuff, just copied it to the same destination folder). I then signed into my ESO account and downloaded the client installer and ran it. Once done, I started the launcher and it saw itself as up to date and ready to play (and it did play just fine for the last two betas).

I did try to run the launcher immediately after I copied the Zen folder, but it didn't work...so that's why I went ahead and ran the client installer, after which the launcher worked and recognized all the game files.
