Movement Speed Buff

Console commands can manipulate movement speed. Is there a legit way to move faster in game, other than shouts or sprinting?

*EDIT* Lol, had to be sarcastic, sorry. But there might be an item that has the effect "Increases movement speed" or whatever.

sprinting and shouts are the only legitimate way. you can use fortify stamina to sprint longer or use the olympic runner easter egg to sprint indefinitely (equip torch, put away your weapon/spell in your other hand, double-tap sprint key)

*sigh* fortify speed, fortify acrobatics, and water walking are the things I think I miss most

Horses are so incredibly slow in this game it isn't even funny. They're only useful for the gravity-defying mountain climbing ability.

God I miss boots of blindning speed and levitation constant effect :( Those would really come in handy in Skyrim traversing mountains, not to mention high jump.

There is a steed stone that increases how much you can carry and reduces movement speed penalties from armour. I raelly wish people who were ignorant of the game like some posters above could be banned for posting falsehoods when the game is so new.

Edited to remove false information.

I thought Steed Standing Stone just negated movement penalties from armor. I don't believe it actually increases base speed. Or am I wrong?

Sorry to inform you, but you are the one with false information. All the steed stone does is increase carrying capacity and makes it so you have no movement penalty when wearing armor (as well as making equipped armor not count towards your carrying capacity)

So does that mean you should be banned for being ignorant? Your post was offensively incorrect.

Thanks for the tips everyone. It sounds like we're just stuck with it. At least Sprint works on Horses.

I really wish people would read the forum rules before posting. Oh well. Now that the question has been answered correctly [and politely] by some posters, this can close.
