Matthew Maconahay = Nord
Christian Bale = Imperial possibily a descendant of Tiber himself.

Not the greatest movie in the world but one that was underated IMO. I also think the dragons look somewhat like some of the dragon pictures/sculpts we've seen from Skyrim

Cant believe nobody mentioned "Outlander"

- Beowulf inspired mythos
- Vikings
- Dragon-like creature menace
- Amazing visuals

Not the greatest of scripts, but imo done better than Pathfinder.

Already have this http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1156883-what-movies-will-you-watch/page__st__80__p__16966350__hl__wrath+of+god__fromsearch__1#entry16966350.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068182/ "Anyone who even thinks about deserting this mission will be divided into 198 pieces; those pieces will be dissolved; whoever takes one grain of corn or one drop of water more than his ration, will be imprisoned here 155 years... If I, Aguirre, want the birds to drop dead from the trees... then the birds will drop dead from the trees... I am the wrath of God. The earth I pass will see me and tremble."

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052365/ You cant beat Ernest Borgnine, Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089469/ Cant beat Tim Curry as Satan, includes a super young Tom Cruise.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063227/ Peter O'Toole, Katharine Hepburn, Anthony Hopkins, John Castle, Nigel Terry, and Timothy Dalton... how cant it be good?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057877/ O' Toole again, this time as King Henry II, Pete should of won an Oscar for this one.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050976/ Arguably Bergman's best movie and its got Max in it.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059896/ Heston as a knight? Sure, why not?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0029850/ The Battle of the Ice scene has inspired epic battles in movies from Spartacus to Braveheart. Its all commie propaganda, but its pretty good.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089457/ How do you beat Rutger Hauer, Michelle Pfeiffer and a young, still in style Mathew Broderick? You have a terrible score in an excellent fantasy movie.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245844/ One of the better versions IMO. It does take some liberties, but Guy Pierce as a bad guy? Yes please.

I could keep going but I'm tired of linking and such. You also have all the major ones previously mentioned; Braveheart, 13th Warrior, Willow etc.

No! You don't want to see a ton of Nords (vikings) get pwnd by ONE native american guy. You need to watch films where the Nords do the pwning. :P

...Except for the fact that the native american guy was actually born a viking... Then the movie becomes about a viking leading native americans against vikings...

I've only seen parts of the movie, but as a kid I used to watch the series all the time. That was when Fox had fantasy shows like Hercules the Legendary Journeys, and Jack of All Trades with my man Bruce Campbell, and Verne Troyer as Napoleon. Ahh...good times.

I would say Braveheart, just because it is the best film ever made!

I haven't watched Conan in like 20 years... I just bought and read a huge compilation of the original Conan short stories.... they get kind of repetitive after 50 of them. :P

Yea Braveheart really captured the unbridaled warrior spirit along with political strategy.

When i think of Conan i see more a mix of Imperial and barbarian due to the darker complexion compared to the frosty pale Elric Of Melnibone look of the Nords.

Conan doesn't debate with people. Conan makes a declaration and slays all who would refute it! He also traveled to MANY tropical and desert regions that were hot and sunny.

Just like the Imperials during their wars of conquests like the invasion on many levels of MORROWIND. Though the Imperials werent as barbaric or upfront with their demands as Conan.

Well, when Season of the Witch comes out for DVD, I will definitely add that to my list. Loved it in theaters way more than I thought I would.

See I did not remember that part. I was too angry that this one guy was kicking a ton of viking ass to pay attention to the plot. But now I can accept it.

Its at the very beginning of the movie. The main character is the boy who was rescued from the viking ship that crash landed on the shore. Hence why he has a sword. I think they even go into a flashback scene briefly that depicts him and his biological father raiding a village.
