Also the LOTR trilogy. It would be cool if the Dwarves were playable in Skyrim.

About the dwarves...
They're kind of indisposed. Sorry about that. They also weren't short and were nothing like Tolkien dwarves. They were Mer.
I wish you luck in your quest to catergorize movies that matchup with Skyrim however. May fortune favor you.
I know the dwarves werent exactly the same as in LOTR.
For me the tv series "Vikings" has some Skyrim'esque atmosphere in it, although it's not "epic", more down to earth. But a good show that I recommend to anyone.
Yes, that one.

A good movie like Skyrim is the "Russian Cat Lady", it explains why Khajiits can't be allowed in cities http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WoFyN1R-1g

The 13th Warrior had a very "Skyrim-esque" feel to it.
Ugh, King Arthur is a terrible movie. More ahistorical garbage and anachronisms than you can shake your axe at.
Vikings is definitely Skyrim-esque, and much better done, even if it has its little historical foibles too.
