Moving Morrowind Install

Post » Tue Sep 01, 2009 5:29 pm

Alright, hopefully this will be the last thread I need to create. I really hate to be an annoyance - so far I've figured out how to fix a meshing error, and to rescue my saves. The solution to the meshing error was to move the location Morrowind is saved at, and I needed some help moving my saves along with it. I've got everything moved, saves and all, and the game seems to work fine, until I try to load a saved game. Then I end up with a bunch of warnings saying I'm missing plugins. It seems to be pretty endless, and I don't think they're from mods. It all sounds like stuff that should be in the game on install. When I moved the file, did some of the essential files not move? I basically just grabbed my Morrowind folder and dropped it into another directory. Am I missing something? Perhaps a clean reinstall will fix this - I've got all of my mods and saves backed up, but I wanted to check here first.

Check if all plugins that your save is dependant on are enabled.

That was one of the first things I did. I thought I activated them all, but on a second check, apparently not... geez, so stupid! Thanks, nonetheless.
