Moving on?

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 7:02 am

So, I've possibly stopped playing Crysis 2 for great other piss-off games available. Don't get me wrong, i love the game but its just not rewarding as i thought it would. I'm possibly just leaving it for other great games to come like BF3, GOW3, and possibly Brink(Yes, I know its already out). These games look like they actually took work in there game and just didn't rush it like C2 did. Yes i am also aware of the DLC out on May 17th, but its still from the single player? LOL really? Anyways, i felt like the maps had enough variety. But on that note. Bye bye Crysis? Let me know how you guys feel about the game after it been out for more then a Month and a half.

Some aspects of Crysis 2 are rushed (matchmaking), but the majority is 1st class workmanship at it's finest IMO. Sort out a few things here and there and it will be perfect.

I love the game, and sill play despite the constant amount of s**t it gives me. Brink is getting bad reviews and looks crap, not only graphically but the gameplay looks boring I couldnt even bother to watch a gameplay video of it and I was looking forward to it as well and apparently the LAG is alot worse than Crysis 2 (though I dont get much).

I dont like GOW3 but I agree BF3 looks amazing and so does some more titles the next month. LA Noire, Alice In Wonderland, Dungeon Seige III...

I will still be playing Crysis 2 as I don't plan on ever getting rid of it(in fact I don't ever get rid of any game I buy), but I will definitely also play L.A. Noire. Rockstar are truly the rockstars of gaming goodness. There are too many other games coming out soon to list that I will be getting. BF3 of course stands out to everyone and is a must have for me.

I personally dislike GOW 3 because it takes so many hits to kill an opponent. Like when I play halo I often find myself using a clip of assault ammo, and then melee to finish a kill. I don't like the cartooish brutes that are characters, and I cannot for the life of me figure out all the controls (Like how they pull out a chainsaw). Players that move fluently through all the commands own newbies so bad on GOW it isn't worth starting. I really do wish the X-Box only titles were more to my taste.

Secondly I recently bought escalation & I feel like I wasted 15 bucks. I had just played CoD for a week or 2, so maybe a map pack is more worthwhile if a game is overplayed, but I tended to dislike the new maps, and didn't have any favorites out of them, which is kinda odd as people tend to lean towards a favorite in almost anything. I think I may wait a week or so before I buy the new Crysis map pack, but then again that gives a week head start to my competition ;)

I got Brink ordered, and I really hope I like it better than CoD. I think I will, but the reviews are not favorable to my preferences. Also leveling on a game that is uber repetetive (which they say Brink is) is a bore. Replay value means so much on Multiplayer.

I played the Vanquish demo last night, and I must say it didn't meet my expectations. It's almost too fast. I do like it well enough that I will play it when I can get it under 25$. A lot of girls are playing Mortal Kombat around here, so that is definately on my list. BFBC3 and Mass Effect 3 are a must. The problem is that there are too many must play games. What to do what to do.

Dude Vanquish is Amazing when you know how to play it. The extra challenges are rock hard. Only a few people have ever completed challenge 6. On my first attempt on completing Ch1 it took me around 20/30 minutes, some I thought were impossible but now I can do most in under 4 mins. At some points it like trying to Master Ninja NG2 its that hard & frustrating.

For the price you can pick this up for I would defo recommend it you just got to get used to it. I have my look settings on 99 & around 45 for aiming & a bit lower for scoping. All Fps game should have settings like this.

this just make it more skill dependant, you are great if you finish the match with a positive k/d ratio, so did you ever play the first or second ones? cause its the same only better and theres nothing cartoonish about em - btw you press b to activate the chainsaw, gow online isn't hard so it sorta seems like they are more skilled that ya
waiting to see the revies and stuff is called being smart!
this is the year of the games... must be cause the world is ending next year lol?
