I can only zoom in and out, that's not really helpful, is there any way I can move the camera around? It would make moving stuff a lot easier...right now I'm using the X Y Z thing to move stuff, but it's hard to see if it fits together

Select an object, press and hold shift, then drag the mouse. This moves the camera around the selected object. If nothing is selected, doing the same moves the camera around wherever it was last positioned, not so useful.
