Do NOT waste money on any cheap system with only nVIDIA's chip set video chip in it. If you want to play games, you must spend what it takes to include an actual, discrete graphics CARD that has been designed for games, such as a Geforce GTS450, or a Radeon HD 5750.

i understand that a full on graphics card would be the best,

what i am asking is if this laptop will run the game on minimal settings

so beyond the generalized statement made above, can anyone tell me if the laptop specified will run FO3?

It will run the game on low settings but expect some stuttering still. The chipset is very weak.

If you're looking for a notebook that cheap, consider this one instead:

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-AS7551G-6477-17-3-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B0041RSFBY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1295144478&sr=8-1

Free ship, no tax for most since direct from Amazon. The Mobility Radeon 5650 will play this game well. .
