Multi platform kills titles

Question: Is this game going to be ported to any of the three platforms or will it have been made to run on all three from the very beginning? I'm worried about framerate issues on the PS3 version.

Does not change the percentage IMO.

Digital sales make up 70-80% of PC sales, it would vastly change the percentages........

Oh bother.

People; reminders to read the forum rules aren't posted because we like repeating the same things over and over again. Now I have to go write up the warnings.

For the person contributing to the platform bashing; its very hard for Oblivion to be developed on a console, since the game has been out for quite a while now. The Creation Kit, and the Construction Kit before that only run on a computer. Its kind of difficult to develop a game with software that won't run on a console, on a console. The games were developed on a pc, then adapted/changed for the respective platform.

Hi i own a very powerful pc as i prefer pc gaming and i cant see why his game is being made simultaneously for all platforms i love elder scrolls but its always been pc first then xbox / ps3 with bad bad bugs for consoles ie vampire bug on ps3 GOTY edition bethesda never did actually fix that still to this day :P

The primary developement platform of Oblivion was the XBox 360.

now i am trying to think ahead of reply's and i know people are going to bring up fall out 3 which was also multi platform and did well but can you honestly say it was as big as oblivion ? in pure side quests alone you could have completed fallout 3 before you scratched oblivions main story and when they did finally port oblivion to consoles it was a bug ridden mess which bethesda NEVER fixed

Fallout 3 was specifically designed to have a smaller and more detailed world, and for quests to be fewer in number but to have more ways of completing them. Console involvement had nothing to do with these changes, and the fact that the XBox 360 was Oblivion's primary developement platform rather severely undermines this claim.

i also want the game to be huge and not a tedious console failure as they had to pack the game up to make it fit on the crappy 8 gig limit to console discs
I am an exclusive PC gamer and I agree with some of what you're saying, but platform bashing is strictly against the rules - at best it is unintentional flame bait.
