Multinational folk music CD

So I'm considering making a short 80 minute or so compilation of folk music from different countries with the following rules.

1. Only 1 song per country.

2. I'd like them to be as recognizable as possible.

3. I'd like the songs to tell some sort of a story.

4. Best if they are considered folk music, even just contemporary folk music.

If I'm playing it in the car and people who I'm driving around can guess which country the song is from on a first time hearing then that would be ideal. :P

So far what I've got are the following three songs.

Iceland - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQxDJ0BVOB4: This is a song about a man who is riding his horse over http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ac/Sprengisandur-location.png. Sprengisandur is a http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/53/Sprengisandur_route_with_view_of_H%C3%B3fsj%C3%B6kull_glacier.jpeg on which people back in the days had superstitions about and is the rider in the song explaining his paranoia about strange sounds he hears and creatures he expects are nearby. Not really too well known but honestly Icelandic folk songs are not the most well known songs in the world. :P So I'm just picking this because it is very popular over here. (And I encourage others to do the same for folk songs they know that have not made it internationally)

Finland - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ygdAiDxKfI: A song about a boy who wishes to take Ieva, a girl he likes, out to dance but is faced with Ieva's mother who does not wish for her to go. Very well known song, hardly need to be explaining it.

Russia - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W80xBX0jK-c: This one is about the love between a peddler boy and a peasant girl called Katya, the two having agreed to meet at night in a rye field to exchange coin and goods and for other things less materialistic. :3 Also a very well known song as the tetris theme was based on it.

These are the sort of songs I'm thinking about and as I only know so little (but would like to know more) about the folk music of different countries I'd like your help in completing this CD of mine. Best of all is if you can not only provide me with the name of the song and the country of origin but a little explanation about the song as well so I can know what it is about and so that I can explain to others what the lyrics are about.
