We have no clue to when it starts.

But of course, it's coming to only a few months now and things should start livening up. We should hear from them in or after Comic-Con since they're going to show a MP demonstration there.

Hopefully, around August, we'll get some sort of time when the BETA comes out. The timing feels about right if they were going to show MP.

But I could be wrong. Of course, be patient and wait until Crytek announce it.

Be realistic, if nothing is said soon, it's getting very unlikely there will be an open beta! The game is due in November, beta's usually run 2,3,4 months before a game comes out, like the original did. We will only get MP information in August now we are told....SO.... unless its an extremely unusual length public beta...its not likely to be happening.
Expect to be let down, u get used to it with games nowadays.

The beta was announced and the sign ups already happened, but we have no clue who is actually getting in and when the beta is.

Do I need to be active in the forum to get the beta? or just to sign in early like what I did?

I hope the next month will bring us some news and dates.
However if there will be a beta, i think it will come in late August.

You need to log in sometimes because people who sign up and don't log in for a long time, could see their accounts deleted.

I think you need to stay active, because the users are being tracked.

@ Shinken: the accounts are no longer deleted, that was for the old accounts that didnt login after the reboot. Personally, i think the beta will come out in late September.

Well i'd say we who have played the first crysis and warhead, and of course wars, should get an access to the beta. I think many PC gamers (Including me.) are thinking negatively about going multi-platform, and the only way to guarantee us of the details is to give us a beta, and an open access to it.

if console players get the possibility to play against computer players...looool
