Multiplayer FPS Drop...

Post » Thu Aug 04, 2011 9:18 pm

After the 1.9 and dx11 patch i have some heavy fps drops during the online match...i tried to disable dx11 and hd texture and now i play in dx9 and very high settings, but the problem is not soved. Today i have installed catalyst 11.7, but anything is changed.

I've always played in dx9 and very high settings without problems before, but after the last patch i can't play as well anymore...

Anyone have this problem? Any solution?

My specs:

AMD PhenomII X4 955 @3.2Ghz
4gb DDR2 800Mhz
Asus EAH 6870 1gb (915/4200Mhz)
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit

sods law as before that patch everything was fine. so it helps some people but makes it worse for others.

ur, ram at 800mhz isnt that powerful, u can get like 2000mhz and ur graphics card u never said.. more ram ( and better mhz ) runs game smoother.. ur cpu is good :) also gpu makes game run good too

Ok, but before the last patch i could play the game with extreme settings without problems. Now i can't play even with very high settings as well...so it's not an hardware problem, in my opinion. :)

The game has always suffered from frame drops but yeah it got worse after 1.9. My FPS is usually stable at 50fps in the MP, this is at 1080p and high settings but still I will get the occasional dips into the teens. It's a rare occurrence though.
