There is no MP mod, and there may not be for a good long while.
You can't just slap multiplayer into the game afterwards, with mod or any other way. It has to be incorporated into the game early in its development.
There is not a single line of code in the game for any MP features. It was never designed to have any MP features.
It's a singleplayer game and should stay that way. Not not every game needs to be ruined with pointless multiplayer.
I know that. I was answering the OPs post. And someone did try to make an MP mod for Skyrim. Last I heard, it wasn't working very well.
I completely agree.
anyone wanting MP in Fallout should be flogged
No, they should be ..

there's a thread for this which I'm sure some kind person will quote.
I'm going to let you in on some history; every single time Bethesda releases a game somebody asks this question. Many of us have been around since Morrowind or before. We've been dealing with this question for over a decade over and over again.
In a world saturated with multi-player games it's understandable that we'd want one of the last true single-player focused studios to remain that way. It is a sensitive subject, no matter how you present it. What you're proposing here is the complete opposite of what most of us want from a Bethesda game. It's a forum so people will be brutally honest with you about that.
Also, what you're proposing is not something one can just mod into the game. There's a lot more to multiplayer than just changing a few settings. Believe or not people have tried to make Bethesda games multiplayer; they always fail because the game engine just isn't designed for that kind of use. I guess most people here just want to tell you that this is one of those ideas that is quite literally never going to happen, so there's no point in even arguing the point.
MP like how WoW or SWTOR is set up definately wouldnt work in an FO setting. TES yes...thats why they gave us TESO. But running around the wastelands with a couple hundred other "sole survivors" out there wearing pipboys is kinda immersion breaking. Now maybe if it was a co-op mode that had a max of say 4 players that might be more believable. However i wouldnt count on them adding even CO-OP into FO4. Look at how a lot of the indoor areas are designed. Lots of hallways with barely enough room to squeeze through. Take your average indoor quest area and imagine 3+ people doing it. Two might be doable since you do that right now with you and your comp. Actually you and your comp will get into each others field of fire but whatevs. Hey maybe FO5 will have co-op if we ask for it nicely and they can make leveling areas and indoor areas/dungeons for a max of 3-4 players size-wise.
Sole_Survivor_1: Greetings stranger, nice radioactive storms we are having, how goes things at Diamond City.
Sole_Survivor_2: Hi, nice to meet you. Its all good a Diamond City, except the radio presenter is so awful.
Sole_Survivor_1: Anyhoo, want to travel together, I'm trying to find my kidnapped son, Shaun.
Sole_Survivor_2: GTFO.... me too.
Sole_Survivor_1: Wait what? Why are you trying to find my son?
Sole_Survivor_2: no, Shaun is my son.
Sole_Survivor_3: Hey guys.... /waves, wanna help me out, some dbag called Kellogg kidnapped my son Shaun and I need help to kick his behind.
Sole_Survivor_2: WTF man?
Sole_Survivor_1: Seriously, what is going on right now?

Guild Member: didnt we clear that whole place last week?
Guild Leader: shut up noob
Hahaha!!!! good point.
Sole_Survivor_1: Ok, forget about Shaun for the moment, what do I call you guys
Sole_Survivor_2 & Sole_Survivor_3: They call me 'The Sole Survivor'
Sole_Survivor_1: Thats it, I'm outie... peace!
The PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a multiplayer mod.
Not sure what it's progress is if it even functions properly, last I checked two years ago or so it wasn't very good.
The PC version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is getting a multiplayer mod with the OpenMW open source video game engine.
With all of that said all video games developed by Bethesda Game Studios need to stay 100% singleplayer only.
True every word.
I admit my previous post may have been a bit rude but the point should be clear. BGS games have always been singleplayer only and vast majority want them to stay that way. People should understand that adding MP affects singleplayer experience. You can't add MP without taking away something from SP.
Sure, there's a mod for Skyrim, Tamriel Online. I haven't tested it but I still wouldn't call it functional. It's still barely working and has been in development for a while.
Multiplayer for Bethesda Game Studios developed video games will also be bad for the PC gamers because it can limit modding capabilities.
Such as introducing a ANTI-CHEAT system to ban hackers like aimbotters and wallhackers and many of the mods that exist that do stuff with .dll's or .exes can get you banned.
All those third party utility tools we use that let us do more crazy mods for Bethesda Game Studios and end up getting banned from the multiplayer because of them what would be the point of even having multiplayer then?
