Multiple fallout 4 character saves?

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 3:39 am

Hey everybody, I'm new to fallout, and the forums, and was wondering if you can have multiple character saves. How would you go about doing this (new game ect). Whenever you quicksave would it ask you if you want to override your other character saves. When you want to continue as one character over the other, how would you do this? (Continue etc) any response is greatly appreciated.

They're saved in their own separate files this time around. I think what you do is quit, get back to the main menu and there should be a button that will let you have access to your other character.

would I press new game to make this second char? And just to clarify, my other character will not be harmed right?

Yeah, you'd have to press 'New Game' to start a new character.

And no, your other character won't be harmed. I've got another character just sitting in the chair during the Pre-War segment waiting for me to get finished with my first one.

Ever play Dragon Age before? It's like that. They each have their own separate file so it's impossible just about to accidentally save over one of your characters.

Thank you so much! I have never played dragon age before, but that's good to hear that I can't accidentally delete my other characters saves.
