Multiple AI Packages question.

I'm relatively new at NPC work in the geck, but what I am attempting, is to have an NPC rattle a slave cage upon my entering the cell (which i have accomplished). ....the problem is, I want him to turn and attack me when I reach a certain distance from him. I've tried using an ambush AI package, but it only seems to work if I order the ambush package above my travel package (which is for the slave cage rattling). (if that makes sense). ......I dont want combat dialogue options. Just simply him to rattle the cage, and then attack me when he sees me..... (or i get close enough).

Ive tried using markers and such, but either I'm messing it up, or going about it the wrong way. Ive been searching for tutorials, but found nothing that covers this. Input? .....or tutorial links perhaps? Thanks.

That's probably the way you need to do it. But you can have a GetDistance condition so that the attack will only occur when you're within a certain range of the NPC. If you aren't, then it will ignore that package and use the next one in the list.
