Multiple Questions and your opinion, please.

I have a fair few questions to ask:

1) Which sign is in your opinion better, the light or the dark? I haven't yet painted the peeling paint effect on the writing so bear that in mind.

2) Interior Cell Size. I notice that Bethesda's interior cells don't exceed 50% really. Mine is at this time 57% and will grow a lot from here. I am using room bounds for better FPS, was wondering if I should split off into separate interior cells as my cell gets larger. Is there a limit for the stability of an interior cell or is it okay to reach that 100% or 157.00mb cell size?

3) Room Bounds. Just wondering how room bounds affect NPCs. If the player is within one room bound and an NPC within that room has AI to travel to the next room that is not loaded....trouble?

Thanks for your help!

1) Dark is better  More congruous with the surroundings.

2) No limit really, good optimization practices (roombounds) will pretty much take care of everything. Just take care that you don't have lots of portals all lined up so that the player could see through like 5+ at once. Personally I make every attempt to ensure it never exceeds 2.

3) Everything in the cell is loaded, just not rendered.

1. Bottom, the light one. Looks like it was installed recently after an event occured. The Dark one looks like the room was made with the intention of being private to begin with.

#1 depends on why the sign is there: was it original to the place or recently placed? If it's the former, then dark; otherwise go light. I like the dark one better though. :)

1. I like the darker one, except that it looks like all the other wood around it and may not stand out. I'd go with the lighter, with peeling paint and overall grunge/dirt.

2. I don't know.

3. Use portals to see from one room bound to another.

Thanks everyone! That is very helpful! :)

I will use the lighter sign on the Keep Out sign as it is a later addition to that doorway and use the darker sign for all the other signs.
