Murder!

After a few years, I've given Oblivion another try and I'm very happy with my modded game save one thing: when I kill dremoras in Oblivion gates, my murder count goes up. I think it happens when I sneak mostly.

I don't remember how things were with the vanilla version and I don't know if FCOM (OOO or MMM most likely) alters npc/factions in a way that would make dremora off the menu until they attack me.

The other mods are run are mostly equips and quest mods. I've relied on BOSS for the load order and used OBMM to install all the mods.

Any insight? I'll post my mod list if FCOM turns out to not be the culprit.

I asked about murder in the main forum. I was getting murder counts on GHOST pirates.
So much for sneaking. I had to let them see me or use a frenzy on them first.

I guess the problem is that they are NPCs, not creatures, and before they have detected you and turned aggressive they are considered "innocents".
But you can use the http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14127 to negate the murder count.

Do you use RGO or SM Combat bounty? That could be a possible cause of this, though I am not saying this with any certainty or proof. I know that bounties can get screwed because of those at times...
