Muscle-Men or Teddy Bears?

Post » Mon Apr 19, 2010 4:46 am

*snickers* Then why was I treated like crap in Highschool and not given a second look in College. :sadvaultboy: :P

I would say that i'm similar to the OP where I have big shoulders, semi-muscular build, and a slight tone to my body, but i'm not exactly a flabby person either. Personally I think i'm screwed when it comes to women and whoever said "There's someone out there for everyone" never met my sorry hide heh heh.

Sorry OP got me i'm in the same boat as you and would love to know some answers to this.

Do you come across as feeling sorry for yourself because of this? Major turnoff...

Wow, really , all that?

All those puzzles all those mind games all that hassle, all that acting and fake [censored] ,all that strain, all that happy go lucky [censored], all that pretending and status clinging.... for just, at best a few months relationship? Its mind boggling.

If someone requests those things of me i want nothing to do with that person.

I never did understand the whole romantic game either. It seems like a waste of time when being yourself would be better.

I agree with you....I'm not sure where I seemed to say something offensive?

Would you like a girl who was so down on herself she said things like 'I think I'm screwed.....anyone who says there's someone for everyone never met my sorry hide' etc? No one likes negative people...and they're certainly not attractive. It's nothing to do with 'playing games'. I'm an advlt, not a teenage girl. But still wouldn't be attracted to someone wallowing in self pity....I admit this may just be me though!

Blond hair is awesome... it just has to flow down to their waist...

I definitely agree with looking on the inside as far as finding someone attractive goes, beauty is only skin deep. I do it myself, I don't date a girl strictly what she looks like.
But in all honesty, I can't imagine why someone would prefer someone who is overweight/fat. Obesity is a disease (technically, it is) and it's very unhealthy. Why would you pick a guy with a great personality but he's going to die in 10 years from a heart attack over another guy who has a great personality and a great, in shape body? That makes no sense.

I have no preference when it comes to hair color, just as long as it isn't dyed.

I'm a redhead, actually reddish blonde hair and i don't really like redhead girls, too pale for my tastes, i may have reddish hair but i have the skin tone of a natural blond person.
I prefer natural blondes.

What if that person is being themselves, and they are pessimistic, fake or depressing your choice ? Cant change who you are, always been the negative guy, I always will.
Also you hate negative people, yet women like abusive people who just insult them it seems, you really do confuse me.

So I'm just a little bit curious about something. Well I guess I should explain a little first:

I am a very big person. Not big as in fat, but not big as in muscley. I am very broad, with a barrel chest, and a little bit of a belly, but nothing too major. To put it simply, I look like a "teddy bear." (That's how I've been described by a lot of people. They say between my looks and my personality I'm a "big ol' teddy bear.")

I could lose weight and fitten up, but the way my body is, I'd always have a belly, and I'll always be a big dude.

So I'd just like some thoughts: Do girls prefer the tall, thin men with muscles, or the big soft men who are like teddy bears?

since when do thin, tall people need muscles? I'm 6'4" and I'm nothing but skin and bones.

also, Hair that is dyed a vibrant, unnatural color is best!!!

I don't think it's a good idea to make generalizations.

Most women like a bit of "spice"

Reality agrees with me, nice guys always get the short end of the stick.

Not saying all women are like that, I just fail to see why they would be attracted to that sort of thing. On about guys needing confidence, then you look at hellmouts post and really its not just the guys if girls are going out with people who reduce them to tears.

I believe that particular phenomenon is due to people mistaking arrogance for confidence.

In other news, I notice a distinct lack of females in here. Too many dangly bits.

To say something about your body shape question:

I don't think most women mind any body shape besides fat, my opinion.

I disagree, there is nothing that resembles confidance in beaing an ass. In fact it just shows lack of confidence, lowering other to your level.
