Muscle-Men or Teddy Bears?

Post » Mon Apr 19, 2010 4:40 am

So I'm just a little bit curious about something. Well I guess I should explain a little first:

I am a very big person. Not big as in fat, but not big as in muscley. I am very broad, with a barrel chest, and a little bit of a belly, but nothing too major. To put it simply, I look like a "teddy bear." (That's how I've been described by a lot of people. They say between my looks and my personality I'm a "big ol' teddy bear.")

I could lose weight and fitten up, but the way my body is, I'd always have a belly, and I'll always be a big dude.

So I'd just like some thoughts: Do girls prefer the tall, thin men with muscles, or the big soft men who are like teddy bears?

The girls prefer a man who is confident, has a shining personality, respect for them, and self-respect. Not all care about a guy's body shape.

There's nothing wrong with being big, but trying to stay fit is always a good thing. When I met my second husband, he weighed 250 lbs and was 6'1" tall. I was 106 lbs and am 5'4" tall. I got pregnant, and he gained 90 lbs. That's right, he weighed 340 lbs. After I had our daughter I went back to 106 and he stayed at 340. I can tell you that that doesn't make for a very fun time in the intimacy department...

Girls prefer their preference, which is potentially literally anything in the entire conceivable range depending on the person. Or if you're unlucky, something outside that range.

I'm just like you are OP. The key is to grin softly, speak confidently, and wink often.

Go gettem tiger.

Grow a mustache. Listen to the wise words of the Tick
"Rugged. Self-assured. advlt. These are the words that describe the man who wears a mustache."

There was a study on this, actually.

It found that guys with a layer of padding was ranked over the muscle guys. Why? Well, sharing the bed was the issue. Apparently, having padding is more comfortable in a bedmate than being rock-hard.

So, you should be fine as long as you don't start going off the deep end in terms of weight.

Girls like guys with POWER. My advice to you is to bully everybody you come across (especially the girl you're after) to make yourself seem more powerful. The ladies will flock to you.

To make things worse, a few of them made their soon to be GFs cry repeatedly hours before asking them out (with success too).

Then there's the brother who does nothing, but is practically hit on by almost any girl. Heck, there have been a few instances someone tried to grab him down there. Doesn't help he has had a girlfriend for two years now. I blame it on his dimples, and that he still looks 15, despite being my age.

From my experience the way I look has nothing to do with why girls are attracted to me. I am fit, I'm not "big", but I do have muscles, but that's not why girls say they like me.
They say it's because of my personality, who I am, and the aura of confidence I give off when I'm speaking to them. You have to think and act like you know you have something to offer, because you do. :)

Wow have some dignity/self respect atleast Jesus, I have low self esteem, but im nowhere near that, if someone pissed me off alot then they can [censored] right off, not go out with me or anything. Damn. Just curious, do the women say why they ent along with that ? Honestly it sounds like thats just going downhill if they take that crap.

Ah back to normal advice then :P

Get rich or get powerful. Thats pretty much all women care about in one way or another. You can be the nicest guy in the world and treat them perfectly if you aint got no money or power your stuck at cuddle-friend.

If your rich and powerful and act like an A-hole you'll get whatever you want.
