Hey i was just wondering if there are any other players like me that listen to music whilst playing the game?

I know many people will say this is a huge No No, like playing with a joypad on PC, but ever since I was young it was a bad habit I got into, so now when i play with no music i play worse. I still hear the sounds from the game, its just i try find equal balance between the game effects and the music.

Anyway it would be interesting to hear if any1 else shares this habit and what they listen to when they game.

As for me i listen to lots of post hardcoe genre bands like, ATDI, Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi etc etc.

This forum is a general discussion, so i'm merely interested in whether other people share that same play style as me.

I always play other video game music when I play something on PC but when I play something on consoles, I just change the volume settings so that I can only hear the soundtrack of the game - even if the soundtrack isin't amazing.

In my opinion the singleplayer of this game actually benefits from doing that. Listening to the title song while playing specific parts of the game made the experience a lot more entertaining.

I always find these adrenaline pumping, if I wanna go all out and sh!t I just listen to this and rock out.

If it's in serious matches, tournaments or talking with my friends, I don't normally play the music cause it's distracting like crazy imo.

Only when i'm really drunk and couldn't care less. Sometimes it goes down well



I usually blast some melodic death metal while playing racing games. That works out really well.
