Music Comparison (with links to music)

I also think the score for New Vegas is Fantastic. I very much enjoy the song choices pretty much across the board, minus a few. I copied all of the songs and the Low/High versions of the background musics into a folder for iTunes, and so far have only un-checked a few of the more strange or tracks. The selection is really across the board; classical to blues to pop - nice job Obsidian! :celebration:

Inon Zhur came through with another stellar performance as well IMHO, and with a new twist this time! Each of the background tracks has at Least 3 versions (a low, medium and high pace/tone) that surprised me. I have to say I really didn't care much for the battle music, but then I only liked Battle06 from Fallout3 so I felt it was consistent there. Every other track, from the different city LOC tracks to the Dungeon and SCR tracks are all really fantastic! I enjoy how the low/medium/high variants take the mood into different levels and wonder how the engine processes which version to play - I must investigate this. Overall I think Inon did a stellar job. :goodjob:

Makes for a really nice iTunes compilation to listen to at work - so I'm never really that far away from Vegas at any given moment. :P

Yeah, New Vegas doesn't have enough music for my tastes, either.

I'd seriously pay for a DLC pack with another radio station or two with another good dozen or so songs.

Johnny Guitar isn't a bad song, but maaaan it's getting old. And now that I can't listen to the Black Mountain station anymore (ARGH!) the soothing voice of Best Friend Tabitha is sorely missed.

But seriously, more radio would be awesome. Just off the top of my head, I'd enjoy reusing the Fallout 3 jams with some new songs tossed in and some voiceovers from Three Dog, since New Vegas is happening a good four years after the events in the Capital Wasteland and it's plausible for him to get his signal boosted or bounched off a satellite (or satellite weapons platform :P) to reach Nevada.

I mean, I'm just brainstorming here. All I'm really saying is I want more music.
