Music for Playthrough #2 : V

On my first playthrough i tend to just listen to in game audio, but second time round i like some motivational music. For me i am thinking some Viking/Norse Metal like Amon Amarth. How about all you?

Just game music..kinda low though. In OB, IMO, it seemed kinda boring without the music...but that's just me. Can't wait to hear that violin music in Skyrim!!!

I always put various songs into the music folder. One that I really like playing to is Space Walk by Ewan Dobson.

Loved MW's music. Oblivion's seemed too mellow.

TES games are the only game i listen to in game music all the time nothing else seems to fit

I will be doing the exact same.

Amon Amarth seems to just fit so well with the setting of Skyrim.

Along with Amon Amarth, probably some Skeletonwitch, Meshuggah, and Debauchery. For some lighter stuff, maybe some older Nightwish, Demons & Wizards, and Blind Guardian.

Pretty much what I normally listen too.

EDIT: Eluveitie might fit pretty well too with Skyrim's setting (folk metal band from Switzerland).

Personally, I've loved TES's music so much that I was never tempted to turn if off/replace it.

On another note, heres my favorite Amon Amarth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJ28J1pa2mk. (Its a bit twisted, but great if your playing an evil Nord barbarian!)

I usually start a youtube playlist of Lord of the Rings songs when playing through Oblivion again.

Sometimes it'll be a playlist of epic music, like Requiem for a Tower, ect.

Game audio only for me.

This. I only play outside music in games where I'm doing something really repetitive (like, say, grinding in an MMO. Or large-scale mining/terraforming in Minecraft.)

I usually play without the music. Maybe during part of the first playthrough I'll have the soundtrack playing just to see if it's gotten better, but for Oblivion anyway, no music preferably.
