I recently installed Daggerfall. I went through the installation procedure and everything seemed to go well. I made my character, the intro movies played just fine, and then when the game started me in the Privateer's Hold, there was no music. The sound effects are perfect and clear, so it's just the music not working. I have installed Daggerfall before and the music worked then, so something went wrong with the installation process, but what?

Try running music and sound setup again and see if there is a problem with what you choose for your music card.

Solved it, turned out I overlooked selecting a MIDI configuration and only selected a sound configuration.
