Couple metal songs come to mind for Skyrim:

I'd like to see music this emotional in Skyrim:

I also hope the music won't be always so harsh-sounding drum and grunting vocals, but have the harmonious and peaceful nature of Oblivion's. There didn't feel like there was enough music for me in Oblivion, it'd constantly replay so it'd get 'tiring' eventually.

Occasionally I'd turn off Oblivion's music but everything i'd listen to would be something that fit a fantasy world. Jeremy Soule is great his Morrowind theme was classic, I did not like the Main oblivion theme version as much though. The back round music was better though, but some were just boring. He is a great composer though his Neverwinter nights theme was another classic. I just can't understand listening to rock or techno or something else while playing an Elder Scrolls game, it would erase immersion for me.

So far the Norse viking themes heard so far from Skyrim sounds better than anything he has done especially last part of the teaser trailer.

I wonder how much it would cost to get Hans Zimmer to make a score, that would be something else.

However if they made a soundtrack as perfect and epic as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1ryJDVuZ6k&feature=related I'd buy the game on that alone.

Music has the opposite affect on me.

When I was watching the trailer for Skyrim, I was just waiting for that song to kick in and BAM there it was, it really gets my heart pounding....

As much as I like dubstep, just no.
What I remember most about Morrowind and Oblivion is the music, and I wouldn't want to have missed it for the world. Gladly, the demo articles said that the music in Skyrim is as great as ever. Can't wait!
(Would be great if they put the full soundtrack in the collector's edition!)
