I don't know why people are surprised it uses the Morrowind theme. Oblivion used it as well. Mark even called it the Elder Scrolls theme.

Yes part of it is the exact same notes are Morrowind, but hey Morrowind's theme is awesome so thats ok!

Oblivion had the same melody as Morrowind too, it just svcked for some reason.

I don't know about you, but I really wanted to hear the Skyrim tune in its entirety when it started to play in the Game Informer video! Unfortunately, the music was cut just the moment before its climix!
