Music Transitions

I hated how every time you run across an enemy, the music just stops abruptly, and new music begins to play. Then as soon as you kill the enemy, the battle music stops abruptly. It isn't that hard to code in a fade. Hopefully this is fixed in Skyrim.

Yea I agree. I hated when my favorite track came on to only be interupted by a crab that takes one hit with my sword and then have a new track start up.

Definitely agree.
There should be a subtle fade.

Maybe music for night and day as well night and day battle. Maybe just a tad more music in general.

Repetitive thread is repetitive.

I mean we have another right on the front page.

You mean the combat music thread? That's about when combat music should be played and what style it should be. It has nothing to do with transitions at all.

Maybe based on distance from target? Where if its far away its quiet and you might not notice it, and the volume of combat music goes up as it gets closer. Not canceling out the zone music just layered overtop, and maybe zone music fades out when combat music gets high enough(and fades back when combats over).

Or something.
