So, I'm not sure if I'm the only one who is suffering from this, but it seems that Windows 8 has some issues with Gamebyro games.

On a fresh install of Windows 8 Enterprise RTM, and a fresh install of New Vegas, I get no music on the main menu. This is also the same in Oblivion and I assume Fallout 3.

Any ideas? I've installed the latest drivers for my Realtek HD Audio mobo audio, the newest DirectX installer, K-Lite Codec Pack and even OpenAL on a whim. Nothing is taking.

I'm gonna crosspost this in the Oblivion sub-fourm and hope I get some joy there as well.
