Music you will like to see in the next Fallout..

Post » Fri Sep 21, 2012 5:35 pm

Suddenly talking the text? You realize that's what that rap you were talking about earlier is. Please don't slam on other kinds of music, that's not what this thread is about.
Rap has flow dude, beat and rhyme. that cowboy act in I dont want to set the world on fire, was just a 50 year old man reading the text up loud. All i said is that Rap and, or Rock would act great as a underground Raider station, cause its [censored] badass, i seriously love I dont want to set the world on fire all im saying is it ruins the song when some motha[censored]a comes in the middle of the songs and sings that [censored], it doesnt have any real flow. So there is a [censored] difference.

Yes.

And Ray, I was born in the same time period as you so I don't see how that's relevant.

Because im modern thats my meaning. Rap isnt just speaking, it has more features then, again, the cowboy act from I dont want to set the world on fire. I dont see how you can disagree on that and jsut say that Rap is just speaking. Aw well, agree on disagree then

LOL yeah true i loved the story even though i cant remember anything about it, except something that you were a part of a mafia. I also liked the driving and those small things but shooting was fun and i barely noticed the music.

Im gonna shut up now before i get banned or ruin the topic.

I'd like to see more original music... Get the devs in the studio and record some songs!... Hell they could even market the music separably and make a profit as well... WIn/WIn

I would probably quit playing Fallout if they incorporated rap into the main radio station.

It doesn't belong in the setting at all.

@Raynor
please keep rap out of fallout, it doesnt work at all. But i do like the Idea of underground Raider Stations, but this new radio station should be punk. Im sure im the only one but i can see Punk becoming incorporated into the series, i mean when you listen to punk you think "pissed off teenagers with colored mohawks running around wrecking [censored] and dying young", This descibes raiders perfectly imo, and You dont really get that ugly, hateful and self loathing that fits so perfectly in the fallout series with pre-90s rocks, only punk

I know its alittle off the fallout timeline but i think Punk could be a really nice fit into the fallout series, Fiends and Jackles could've used a punk tone imo but if anyone disagrees i understand =P

Also iv been dying to hear some lead belly into fallout

Rap is underrated and punk isn't really that much of a music, but that all depends on what song of course. I know everyone disagrees with me but [censored] that i still think, even though i am the minority, that rap or rock should be implemented, hell, underground raider station is a good idea no matter what i dont see how anyone could disagree with that, at least. Westside was all about saying [censored] you NCR, and they are called westside and they are filled with junkies that live ''underground''. I could image westside sticking it up to the big guy if NCR so much as tried to get their asses over there.

I could see certain rock songs fitting. Being 200 years of extreme wasteland living with 5+ generations after the Masters Army, I could definitely see a few uniquely sounding rock songs fitting. Like Thunderstruck, or the classic Wild Thing by X. Rock songs themed after particularly large victory battles (oil rig, Hoover Dam, Mariposa, etc.) but nothing hard.

Someone finally understands the point, as 200 years have already passed and everyone listens to the same songs, as it isnt that hard to make yo own songs, guitars exist and if the brotherhood can make high tech power armor a some kind of electric guitar should be able to be made and used by some band or somethin.

The reason why I gave those two examples was because even though they're not 50's music, they still have this unique vibe that I personally feel would fit with the wasteland.

That'd fit so perfectly it'd be poetic.
