I must be doing something wrong...

Hopefully, someone can help me, I am sure the answer is staring me in the face!

I understand to enchant an item, you have to first disenchant one. Trouble is, when I use an Arcane Enchanter, non of my enchanted items appear in the list to disenchant, but un-enchanted items do! For example, I have just cleared a dungeon, and found a blessed battle axe. It is glowing in my inventory, but doesn't appear on the list to disenchant. Neither do staffs I am carrying. So, what am I missing?

I guess it might have something to do with your enchanting level, i'm not sure though.

Some items cannot be disenchanted, but you could have some sort of bug.

If it is a bug, has anyone else encountered it, or knows a workaround?

There is a disenchant tab on the menu.If you open the items tab,you see the items available for enchanting. If you open the disenchant tab (go over it and press d) you see items you can disenchant.
I'm pretty sure this is not caused by a bug or sth but crappy interface XD

Also if it follows suit with other "actions" you can do such as cooking, alchemy and smithing if you "can't" do something they usually say why.

i.e. "Your echantment level is not high enough" or "You are missing a soul gem".

Thanks, that did it! All of the enchanted items have now shown up, would never have guessed you had to click the disenchant text!
