Currently I'm playing two characters every now and then - a mage, and a thief.
I'm perfectly happy about the mage, but the thief isn't what I remembered it to be from long ago.

I'm currently running OOO, FCOM_Archery and MMM Hunting and Crafting, but I find there's a lack of different bows.

Therefore, I was wondering which archery mods are worthwile.

I recalled that OOO added several different longbows and such, but I've yet to encounter these again.

So basically: which mods would you recommend to someone who likes using marksman as his primary skill?
Archery shops, bows, overhauls to the mechanics - it's all welcome.

also get the longer arrow pack for SI, it isnt included in Creations.

Francescos adds a ton and a half of bows, but I dont know how well that would run with OOO without a full FCOM install.

If you have CoBL installed then you can use the CoBL denock arrow function.

I already have a full FCOM install, hence the FCOM_archery plugin.
I also have Bob's armory because of FCOM and Nico's mods after being referred to them in the Archery Shops 2.0 readme.

If you're going to use Duke's Combat Archery, you won't need the Denock Arrow mod listed above by Illius. A denock arrow function is included in combat archery (just point a drawn bow directly at the ground).

All of the above are somewhat unbalanced stat-wise but are lovely models. An balanced alternative for Adonnay's weapons is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35746. This is apparently best combined with http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18417

It's so old and good that it might be incorporated into other mods these days, but http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9445 (by TheTalkieToaster) is the best single archery mod in my opinion.

It adds sway to your aim so you don't have steady-as-a-rock perfect aim as a novice. The higher your marksman skill gets, the less your aim sways. Brilliant mod. Makes archery more fun and challenging. You actually have to time your shot and release the arrow at the right moment.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I just noticed this is already incorporated in Duke Patrick's Combat Archery.

All I'm looking for still is more content.
