Must have Immersion mods

Post » Mon Aug 08, 2011 8:35 am

Im a player that absolutely thrives off immersion, from sound to small jobs.
Can you please suggest to me all the mods that you have used and have found to be stable and lore friendly while adding to the game world.
Please dont just suggest combat mods, combat isnt a big part of my game

Got:
All Natural
Immersive Interiors
Sounds of Cyrodil

As for:
Cava Obscura - I use Ambient Dungeons which i prefers, so i got dark dungeons covered.
Open Cities/UL - I find it clashes with too many of my mods so i dont use it anymore.
AWLS/Nice to Meet You - I might try that

These enlargen the game's world to include all of Tamriel... make sure you choose the correct map in "dynamic maps" however. This way... you see a fuller world :) The only thing missing from this would be a toroidal map system so that it stimulates a spherical world (IE putting invisible load screens at the edge of the world that teleports you the the other side).

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27638 <--- Your character can now take all items in a container by pressing A... much more immersive... since I don't have to click to oblivion.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38439 <--- you can exit the container by pressing E.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37385 <---- sneaking changes.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37088 <--- Probably one of the best hunger/thirst/sleep mods... solely due to the amount of documentation it has :P It maintains compatibility with vampire overhauls and CoH - Res. I also like it since it gives everything to you in a cohesive package, unlike Real hunger and Real Sleep.

http://tes.multimediaxis.de/?go=dlfile&fileid=349? I mean except for the "small jobs" part* Everything else you said just Screams Integration.
Immersion, recognition, and proper introduction. Check!
lore friendly? Check!
Not combat oriented? Check!
Stable? Check!
Adding to the world? Check!

Though, I admit in the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1212700-must-have-magic-mods/page__p__18167558__fromsearch__1#entry18167558 i was kind of making a stretch.

lists:
http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1053088-deltes-thread-of-immersion-mods/
http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/931523-roleplay-replay-a-randomly-generated-job-mod-list/
Some one really needs to update the list of lists, I actually had to search for those lists :(

*(granted Integration does have a lot of social, low stress, small jobs type quests, but as a whole it's pretty huge and has major quest lines, so it's a bit more than small jobs)

Here are some from my load order that I like a lot

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34744
http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24605 I've tried a number of survival needs mods, and this one and Basic Primary Needs are tied for my favorite. I like different things about each one, but this is the one I'm currently using. Its the only one that differentiates between raw and cooked food, which I like a lot. And because of that feature, when you combine it with DP's Basic Hypothermia, campfires become VERY important: essential both for cooking food and keeping warm.

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37197 This is the most user-friendly and intuitive campsite mod I've ever used. One thing though: if you use Eat and sleep and/or Basic Hypothermia, you'll need another mod that adds a portable campfire (like Portable Campsite, linked to below), because the one in Camping isn't actually recognized as a fire in the game, it's purely cosmetic, and therefore doesn't work with these mods and won't burn you if you step on it.
