SD must have lied!

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 4:23 am

Alright so when either Ham or Wedgewood (can't remember which) was asked about downloadable content in a recent interview they said they hadnt worked on it and were focusing on the game. This is understandable but as you may know they have said free dlc will be released in june. production of dlc takes more then a month. Thus Splash Damage has lied!

I think this is a move in the right direction for SD. I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Let me be one to say THANK YOU SD, for doing the right thing and offering the first DLC for free. I have gained a bit of respect back for you guys, now I wait for the release and hope that it is worthy DLC, not rushed crap to try and hold us over.. +1 for SD, for now.

I know your game has so much potential to be great. Now, make it so.

Stop trying to hold them to there word. They don't have time to be making DLC, due to the fact of updates and such to the game. Calm down and enjiy what the "F" you have. Others have bigger and badder problems then you. Just wait....

Sorry about my language and aggression. Stupid things such as this....never mine. On to topic. Just be patient for now.

It's also pretty plausible that they weren't working on the DLC when they said that, but started to do so immediately after. It's not due out until June, and it's reasonable to assume that the game was built with DLC in mind (given that there was release-day DLC in the form of pre-order bonuses which, yep, have to be DOWNLOADED - hence the term "DOWNLOADABLE content")
