Mutation

We all were once curious about what could happen if we kept increasing our radiation levels, and sadly the outcome wasn't as we expected. However, what if we could suffer in-game mutations like a process of ghoulification or a transformation into a super mutant?

It would be interesting if the storyline changed, in a way that society wouldn't (obviously) look at you the same way as it did when you were human. So, you would have to join up with mutant raid parties and survive without being able to actually enter a city and trade, or be treated like an animal.

Personally, I wouldn't really want my character turning into a ghoul or super mutant. I'd like them to stay looking the way I created them at the beginning of the game. Mutations in the form of perks or "anti-perks" would be alright with me though. In the Wasteland Survival Guide quest in Fallout 3, if you allowed yourself to contract advanced radiation sickness, you could get a mutation/perk that would heal crippled limbs while being irradiated. That was pretty cool. The higher the radiation got, however, should have detrimental effects instead of beneficial, like maybe having certain S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes drain slowly after your rad level got too high (over 500 or something) and then return if your rads are lowered.
