Ive always wanted to get an opportunity like this, to start a topic about how good and bad a game is and what I think to it:
First with the Good points:
1) I love the main story and how you have to go on a epic adventure, and how you choose the skills you want to do.
2) I like the way how you can just take a break from the story and just wander around a town just to get a new quest that is a bit different.
3) I also like how the guilds work; I like the fact the quests you do for the guild will actually affect the guild as you progress to the last grand finale at the end of working for them.
Ok, to the Not so bad bits:
1) I think the combat is all right because it is easy to use and very easy to switch between weapons, I only think that it is very very hard to die in combat unless your a suicidal or not paying attention.
2) Exploring the open world for me is fun for about 10 minutes but then gets boring very quickly because everywhere seems to be the same (NOT INCLUDING TOWNS/VILLAGES) because all the forests are just the same trees, same monsters and has the same feel as the rest. All the mountains are all right again but once you're at the top you look around and see nothing but either snow or rocks and the occasional monster.
Now, to the Bad things:
1) I like the fact you can hire companions to follow you.... but to get in the way for almost everything! Especially in good combat opportunities, like for example: I walk into a dungeon, see a bandit and think about how I would like to take him/her out, but then to ruin my moment the companion runs up to them! stands right in front of me! and kills them!
2) I like the fact you can shout at dragons to attack them, but when it comes to shout at them to ride them... HELL YEAH! BUT NO... you have already guessed it.... you cant control them, you cant even steer! Lets go back to ride the old boring horse...
3) I like the fact there are good useful items in the game... but to be honest, they are too easy to get and once you have got them, you will be a god for your level. for example: you decide your going to be a blacksmith and your goal is to get your smithing skill to 100 and got all the perks... trust me, it only takes a days worth of playing and you have legendary daedric armour because the resources are kinda easy to find and really once you get to level 20 your character is practically finished.
So there is what I think about the whole game, sorry if it was too much. Just thought I would post this up to let all you cool people know what I thought about Skyrim and please, post a reply or something interesting.
